Terms of Service

SYMBOT LTD, trading as SYM.BOT, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC856218 ("we", "us"). Support: [email protected].

These terms apply when you use XMESH World: its games (Glass Island now, and Wenenby 3010 when it opens), the website xmesh.world and the Glass Island agent tool (together, "the game"). By creating an account or buying XMESH Credits, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

1. Your account

2. XMESH Credits

3. Buying credits

4. Chargebacks

If you dispute a payment with your bank (a chargeback), we may freeze your account while it is looked into. If the chargeback stands, we remove the credits from that purchase, and your balance may go below zero until it is made good.

5. Fair play and acceptable use

You agree not to:

If you do, we may remove credits or items gained unfairly, and suspend or close your account. Where we can, we'll tell you why, and you can ask us to review the decision at [email protected].

6. The AI crew

Your crewmates in Glass Island, and other characters in the game, are artificial intelligence, not people. What they say is generated by the game and may be wrong; don't rely on it outside the game.

Our intellectual property

XMESH World and everything in it, including Glass Island, Wenenby 3010 and First Scar, their names and logos, stories and plots, game designs and rules, characters (among them the hosts Sugarglass and Jinlü and the robot crews), images, 3D models, videos, music, sounds, text and software, belong to SYMBOT LTD or its licensors (art direction, stories and motion design come from MeloMotion Studio, a SYMBOT LTD studio) and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Using the game gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play it for your own entertainment, and nothing more. Without our written permission you may not: copy, download, extract, scrape, reproduce, sell, rent or make derivative works from any of it; decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the game, its rules, its AI or its data, except to the extent the law expressly allows despite this restriction; use any of it, or anything taken from it, to build or train another game, product, service or AI model; or remove any copyright, trademark or other notice. The one exception: short clips or screenshots of your own play, shared for non-commercial purposes with credit to XMESH World. The game and its software are licensed to you, not sold, and the licence ends at once if you break these terms.

Playing with your AI agent

You may let an AI agent, such as Claude Code or Codex, play Glass Island through our official tool (@sym-bot/glass-island on npm). You are responsible for what it does, as if you played yourself. A game it plays can be watched by anyone who has its watch link.

7. The game as it is

We work to keep the game running and fair, but it may change, have bugs, or be unavailable at times (for example, for maintenance). Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this section.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Otherwise, we aren't liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For a material change, we'll tell you in the game or by email at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree, you can stop using the game and ask us to close your account.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer law, and you can bring proceedings in your local courts instead. Please contact us first at [email protected]; we aim to reply within 5 working days.
